From 21 to 24 May 2016 the international music forum with the participation of Russian and German musicians will take place in the Königsberg Cathedral. The special guest of the international festival “Music Hansa” in the Cathedral is a violin virtuoso, a symbol of the Russian violin school, Viktor Tretyakov. On May 21st the Piano Quintet of Viktor Tretyakov will open the festival with the programme “Brahmsiada”.

Organ, chamber works by Brahms: Prelude and Fugue in G Minor, 2 chorales; Sonata for Cello and Piano in E Minor, Piano Quintet in F Minor.

MP Mussorgsky – songs and ballads, the song cycle “Songs and Dances of Death” of the piano cycle “Pictures at an Exhibition”.

Performing musicians: international music competitions prizewinner, Honoured Artist of Russia, soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre Alexandra Durseneva, piano – Honoured Artist of Russia Vladimir Slobodyan.

23.05, 19:30 Concert of Kaliningrad Symphony Orchestra

A. Gilman – Symphony №1 in D Minor for Organ and Orchestra, works by Shostakovich, Prokofiev, Khachaturian.

Performing musicians: soloist – the winner of the All-Russian and international competitions Eugene Avramenko (organ), conductor – the Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation Arkady Feldman.

24.05, 19:30 Organ concert
Works by Johann Sebastian Bach, George Frederic Handel, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Felix Mendelssohn.
